Overview In 12 Gavels, teams will have to debate, strategise and make policy choices under pressure. Starting with a two-sided policy debate, teams will be pushed to defend—and challenge—the same issue from opposing perspectives. The top teams then enter the Policy Auction, where every decision comes with a price. With limited Policy Points, teams must bid for the policy instruments they believe will give them an edge. But winning the right policies is only half the game. The real challenge begins when teams are given a common economic problem and must use their auctioned policies to build a solution that is impactful, feasible and inclusive.
