EVENT/STORE

Terms of Service

Last updated 26 July 2026

These terms cover your use of evently.wiki. By creating an account or posting an event, you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use the site.

What this site is

Event Store is a free listing service for community events. Events are submitted by their organizers and reviewed before they appear publicly. We host listings; we do not organize, run, endorse, or vet the events themselves, and we are not a party to anything that happens between an organizer and an attendee.

Your account

You need a verified email address to post. Keep your login details to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. One person, one account; don’t impersonate anyone or sign up on someone else’s behalf without their say-so.

What you may not post

Don’t submit an event that:

  • isn’t a real event, or that you have no authority to list;
  • is illegal, or promotes illegal activity, violence, harassment, or discrimination against people on the basis of who they are;
  • is a scam, a fake ticket sale, a pyramid or MLM recruitment pitch, or otherwise designed to mislead people out of their money;
  • contains sexually explicit material, or content aimed at exploiting minors;
  • uses images, text, logos, or branding you don’t have the right to use;
  • publishes someone else’s personal information, or a contact detail you aren’t authorised to share;
  • is spam, duplicated across many listings, or bulk-posted by automated means.

Eligibility criteria on a listing (age, city, college, and so on) are for describing who an event is genuinely intended for. Don’t use them to exclude people on the basis of protected characteristics.

Your content stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you submit. By posting, you give us permission to display, store, and distribute that content on this site, and to make routine technical copies and adaptations of it — resized poster images, search indexes, and AI-generated tags and categories used to make your event findable. This permission ends when the content is removed, apart from copies sitting in backups until they age out.

You confirm that you have the right to post what you submit, and that the contact details on a listing are ones you are entitled to publish.

Review and removal

Every submission is reviewed before it goes live, and we may approve, reject, edit, or later remove any listing at our discretion — particularly if it breaks the rules above. Review is a moderation step, not a guarantee: we do not verify that events are real, safe, accurately described, or that they will actually take place.

We may suspend or delete accounts that repeatedly break these terms, or that are used for spam, abuse, or attacks on the service. We’ll usually explain why, but for serious cases we may act first.

If you think a listing is fraudulent, infringing, or otherwise shouldn’t be here, write to evently-quicksupport@googlegroups.comand we’ll look at it.

Using the service

Don’t attempt to break, overload, or probe the service or its infrastructure; don’t scrape it in bulk; don’t circumvent rate limits or moderation; and don’t use it to distribute malware. Automated access outside of ordinary browsing needs our written permission.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is and free of charge. We make no promise that it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change or discontinue any part of it. We are not responsible for what happens at events listed here, for dealings between organizers and attendees, or for losses arising from your use of the site — to the fullest extent the law allows.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who else sees it. It forms part of these terms.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kharagpur, West Bengal have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
