AI FILMATHON is an on-ground short film-making challenge where creativity, storytelling, technology, and AI come together. Participants will receive the film theme during the event and will have to turn the given theme into an engaging short film within the designated time. The Filmathon is designed to encourage participants to experiment with AI-powered video and audio tools while combining them with original, real-world footage captured on campus.

Important: Participants should complete both account setups before the Filmathon. The verification form links and tool access links will be shared with shortlisted/registered participants by the organizers.
Film Requirements: The final film must be 2–4 minutes long. The film must be based on the theme revealed during the event . The film must include AI-generated video using GenVR for the required minimum duration. The film must include an audio/voice component created using Chariot . Teams must include original live-action footage shot on the BVCOE campus . The film must be created during the designated Filmathon production period. Previously created or substantially pre-produced films cannot be submitted.

Rules & Guidelines: All submitted content must be original and created specifically for the Filmathon. Participants must follow the theme announced during the event. Teams must complete and submit their film within the given submission window. Any content that violates copyright, privacy, or applicable laws will not be accepted. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights or permissions for any external assets used in their film. The use of GenVR and Chariot as specified above is mandatory. Teams must follow the submission format and instructions shared by the organizers during the event. Late submissions may be disqualified from the competition. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries that violate the rules or event guidelines. The decision of the judging panel will be final.
Event-Day Timeline: 29
September 2026: Main AI Filmathon at the BVCOE campus. The event will begin with an orientation and challenge briefing, followed by the theme reveal and tool guidance. Teams will then work on their films during the designated production period, followed by submission and final screening/presentations. Important Note: The Filmathon is a time-bound on-ground challenge . The theme will be revealed during the event, and teams are expected to develop, shoot, generate, edit, and submit their final film within the designated competition timeline.
