About the Challenge: AstroLive is a fast-growing astrology consultation and divination platform where thousands of users connect via call and chat with astrologers every single day. This challenge is modelled directly around how AstroLive operates at scale, focusing on real-world mechanics of product growth, user retention, revenue generation, and core engagement. This is a live business problem; the goal is to deliver a working prototype that solves a genuine operational bottleneck. Exceptional performers get a direct shot at joining the core team via Pre-Placement Offers, plus a strong portfolio project. Eligibility & Team Structure: Eligible Batches: Open to all (Engineering (B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech.), B.Sc., MBA, and BBA students, as well as freshers and recent graduates from the last 2 years (Batches of 2024, 2025, and 2026)). Stage 3: Evaluation & Winners Announcement: 28th August. Problem Statement: Review AstroLive in its current form and identify one or more product opportunities to address. Your solution should focus on building structural virality that drives organic growth, creating a habit-forming user experience that encourages users to return naturally, unlocking new revenue opportunities beyond the current business model, or defining a compelling Unique Selling Proposition (USP) that makes your solution the preferred choice over other platforms. Submission Guidelines: Participants must submit one final deliverable containing two core parts before the portal closes: The Prototype/Demo: A working prototype of your project. This should be a website that shows how your project works for the AstroLive challenge. Submit this as a live, publicly accessible URL via platforms such as GitHub, Figma, or Lovable. The Project Report: A document (minimum 8 pages) describing the problem(s) you addressed, your analysis/teardown of AstroLive, your proposed solution, expected impact, success metrics, and references. Cite all external sources and any AI tools used. Mandatory: Cite all external sources and any AI tools used while building the prototype and report. Critical Submission Compliance: Access Permissions: All submitted links (GitHub, Figma, Lovable) must be set to "Public" or "Anyone with the link can view." Private or locked links will result in disqualification. File Naming Format: Report files must be uploaded as PDFs following this standard: "AstroLive_TeamName_LeaderName.pdf". Team Submission Rule: For teams of 2 members, the final submission must be made exclusively by the Team Leader. Finality: The version available on the portal at exactly 11:59 PM IST on 20th Aug will be treated as final. No manual updates or email patches will be processed after the deadline. Judging Criteria: Submissions will be evaluated in a single-round review. The prototype is the main objective, with the report acting as the justifying document. Submissions will be evaluated based on a 7-part weighted scorecard that measures problem comprehension, solution design, prototype functionality, project uniqueness, scalability and feasibility, report clarity, and potential business impact.
