The AWS MSP AI Hackathon invites Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and the partner community to build production-ready AI solutions that demonstrate what an AI-first MSP looks like in practice. Participants are challenged to leverage AWS AI Services—including Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Strands Agents, Amazon Quick, Kiro, and the AWS Frontier Agents—to either run their MSP operations more efficiently or deliver new, differentiated AI-driven services to customers. The event explicitly seeks real solutions with measurable impact and scalability, rather than proofs of concept.
Participants can choose between two tracks: * Track 1: Run Your MSP Better – Focuses on using AI to improve internal MSP operations with measurable efficiency gains, tackling challenges such as incident response and FinOps. * Track 2: Deliver AI-Driven Outcomes for Customers – Focuses on delivering differentiated, AI-powered services to end customers that they cannot get elsewhere.
Eligibility is restricted to organizations that are MSP partners or part of the AWS Partner Network. Selected winners will be recognized for their innovation and receive significant benefits, including inclusion in the MSP AI Use Case Library, priority consideration for AWS go-to-market support, and white-glove enablement for a potential AWS Marketplace listing. Standout solutions may also be highlighted at the AWS Global Partner Summit.
The competition offers $64,000 in cash prizes distributed across the two tracks, along with 10 Special Prizes for specific implementations of AWS AI services. To participate, teams must submit a publicly hosted, working solution accompanied by a code repository, a deployed URL, a text description of business outcomes, a 3-minute demo video, and proof of production readiness including an Architecture Diagram and High Level Design Doc.
