Build for Bharat 2.0 The Flagship 36-Hour Hackathon at Chandigarh University Build for Bharat 2.0 is a flagship national-level hackathon organized at Chandigarh University , bringing together students, developers, innovators, designers, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts from across the country to identify real-world challenges and build meaningful, technology-driven solutions. The hackathon is designed to move beyond ideas and encourage participants to transform problems into innovative, practical, scalable, and impactful solutions using technology. Hackathon Format Build for Bharat 2.0 will be conducted in two rounds . Round 1 — Online Registration & Idea Submission Participants will register their teams through Unstop and submit their proposed solution in the prescribed PPT format. Teams are expected to clearly present: Problem being addressed Target users and stakeholders Proposed solution Innovation and uniqueness Data sources and methodology Technical approach Expected outcomes Potential real-world impact Participants are free to identify relevant datasets and resources based on their selected problem statement. Submission Deadline: 25 September 2026 The submitted proposals will be evaluated based on the quality of the problem, innovation, feasibility, approach, potential impact, and overall solution vision. Round 2 — 36-Hour On-Campus Hackathon Shortlisted teams from Round 1 will be invited to Chandigarh University for the final 36-hour offline hackathon.

Offline / On-Campus Venue: Chandigarh University During the final round, teams will transform their proposed ideas into functional prototypes through intensive development, testing, validation, and iteration. The final round will challenge participants to demonstrate not only their technical capabilities but also their ability to understand the problem, work as a team, manage resources, and deliver a practical solution within a limited timeframe.
Participation Fee Registration Fee: ₹400 per team The participation fee for the hackathon is ₹400 per team . Shortlisted teams will proceed to the final on-campus round at Chandigarh University.
