Submission Through Unstop: TAPMI Journal of Economics and Finance (TJEF) is a student-managed, peer-reviewed journal that features a select number of outstanding articles. We are delighted to invite submissions for the upcoming issue of TJEF. This issue’s theme is ‘Rewiring the Global Economy: Finance, Fuel, and the Fight for Growth As the global economy navigates a period of heightened uncertainty, shifting power dynamics, and structural transformation, the interplay between finance, energy, policy, and society is becoming increasingly important. Geopolitical tensions, evolving fiscal priorities, energy security concerns, and changing market behavior are reshaping economic growth trajectories across nations. We encourage researchers to explore and examine the forces driving this economic rewiring and their implications for businesses, governments, and financial markets. Submissions may explore, but are not limited to, the following key areas: The Economics of Geopolitics: The impact of trade wars, sanctions, strategic alliances, supply chain realignments, and geopolitical conflicts on global economic growth, investment flows, and financial stability. Energy Transition vs Oil Dependency: Balancing climate goals with energy security, the economics of renewable energy adoption, continued reliance on fossil fuels, and the implications for inflation, trade balances, and economic competitiveness. Cross-Border Banking Partnerships: The role of international banking collaborations, capital flows, fintech integration, regulatory coordination, and financial inclusion in supporting global economic connectivity. Fiscal Policy & Growth: Government budgets, public spending, taxation strategies, fiscal stimulus, debt sustainability, and their effectiveness in driving economic growth, employment, and long-term development. The Economics of Inequality and Power: The relationship between wealth concentration, access to opportunities, labor market dynamics, social mobility, and the broader implications for economic growth and political influence. The Human Element in Markets: Behavioral finance, investor psychology, consumer sentiment, decision-making under uncertainty, and the influence of human behavior on market outcomes and economic trends Guidelines: Each paper can have a maximum of 3 authors. The word limit is 2500 words excluding tables, graphs, etc. Plagiarised articles will not be accepted. File Naming Convention: TopicName_InstitutionName Font: Calibri Line Spacing: 1 Size: 12 in Word (.DOC/.DOCX) The first page of the article should contain the title of the paper, the author’s name(s), and the institutional affiliation(s) of the author(s). All graphs/diagrams/tables should be referred to as figures (e.g., Fig. 1) and as tables (e.g., Table 1) respectively and should be numbered consecutively. Sources of figures/tables should be mentioned below. The paper should be mailed to tjef.tapmi@manipal.edu in or submitted to Unstop.
