About LIT School LIT School is an experiential business school built for students who don’t want to learn only through lectures, notes, and exams. At LIT, students learn by working on real-world challenges from brands, creators, startups, and industry leaders. Every experience is designed around three stages: Learn. Innovate. Transform. The Careers of the Future Hackathon is an extension of this philosophy, a space where students don’t just hear about future careers, but experience what it feels like to step into them. What’s in it for students? The Careers of the Future Hackathon is designed to help students explore future career paths by actually working on them. Students will get the opportunity to: Internship opportunities Winners will get an opportunity to secure internships with leading organizations, including Dabur, Ogilvy, Swish, Bhanzu, Vedantu, Astrotalk, etc. Present before renowned mentors and creators Shortlisted participants will have the opportunity to present their work before Kusha Kapila, Parul Gulati, mentors, judges, and industry representatives during an offline round at LIT School, Bangalore. Experience future careers first-hand Work on real-world challenges across tracks like AI Filmmaker, AI SaaS Builder, Creatorpreneur, D2C Entrepreneur, Cloud Kitchen Entrepreneur, Creative Agency Owner, Quick Commerce Entrepreneur, Impact Entrepreneur, and more. Build something real Every student will work on a practical challenge and create a submission such as a deck, prototype, campaign, product concept, trailer, business plan, or strategy. Learn from mentors and industry experts Students will be guided by people who understand the industry and can help them think beyond textbooks. Discover what kind of work excites them Instead of blindly choosing a career, students get to test what different future careers actually feel like. Build portfolio-worthy work Students will walk away with real projects that can be added to their portfolio, resume, LinkedIn, or college applications. Compete for prize money Students will compete across tracks for a total prize pool of ₹5,00,000 . Meet ambitious students from other colleges The Hackathon brings together students who want to create, build, experiment, and challenge themselves. Get exposure to real brands and industry-style briefs The challenges are designed to feel like real-world briefs, not classroom assignments. Present their ideas Shortlisted students will get the opportunity to present their work to mentors, judges, and industry representatives during an offline round at LIT School, Bangalore. Stay arrangements Accommodation, travel (to and from accommodation to event venue), and food arrangements for the offline hackathon round will be organized by the organizing team, and further details will be shared closer to the hackathon. Understand the careers of the future before choosing one The hackathon helps students answer an important question: “Can I see myself doing this kind of work in the real world?” Rules & Regulations The Hackathon is open to students of Classes 10, 11, and 12, Undergraduate, and those who have passed Class 12 in the year 2026. Students must register for the hackathon before the deadline announced by the organisers. The screening round is a profile verification round. Please expect a call from the LIT School Team. After screening, candidates will move to the next stage on a rolling basis. Each participant must choose one career track/challenge to participate in. Participants must follow the specific brief, submission format, and eligibility rules of their selected track. All submissions must be original and created by the participating student. Use of AI tools is allowed, but students must clearly mention the tools used wherever applicable. Plagiarism, copied work, stolen assets, or unlicensed material will lead to disqualification. Participants must submit their work before the final deadline. Late submissions may not be accepted. Participants must not change their selected track after the challenge begins unless approved by the organisers. The decision of the mentors, judges, and organisers will be final. Participants must behave respectfully with mentors, judges, organisers, and other participants. Any unsafe, offensive, discriminatory, illegal, or inappropriate content may lead to disqualification. Participants must be present for all mandatory sessions, briefings, work periods, and presentation rounds.
