Case for Change:A Business Crisis Case Competition , proudly hosted at EconVista 2026 by Department of Economics, Lady Shri Ram College for Women , is a high-stakes business crisis case competition where AI-driven disruption meets workforce strategy. The challenge places participants directly in the boardroom: a company with an obsolete business model has only six months of cash runway before facing a complete shutdown. As external strategy consultants, teams must diagnose the crisis, evaluate the business’s underlying economics, identify a viable path to survival, and defend their strategy before an expert jury. Expect sharp unit economics, high-pressure boardroom defences, and real-time strategic shifts. If you have the analytical rigour, strategic thinking, composure, and conviction to turn around a business on the brink of collapse, step up and make your Case for Change. Guidelines 1.
