About the Opportunity: For all the strategic thinkers, problem-solvers, and product enthusiasts, Product Management Club and 180 Degrees Consulting IIT (ISM) Dhanbad presents CaseBlitz 2026, a national-level Product & Consulting Case Competition, as part of Concetto ’26, the annual technology festival of IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. CaseBlitz goes beyond conventional case competitions by bringing together business strategy and product thinking. Across three rounds, participants will diagnose real-world problems, develop evidence-backed strategic recommendations, design impactful product solutions, create prototypes and ultimately build and defend their ideas before a jury. With a big prize pool, an intense 24-hour offline build sprint, and the opportunity to compete at the IIT (ISM) Dhanbad campus , CaseBlitz is designed to test how well teams can think, build, and deliver under pressure. Eligibility & Team Formation Open to students currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme at any recognised institute or university in India. Students from Engineering and Management disciplines, across all years of study, are eligible. Inter-college teams are allowed. Inter-specialization/program teams are allowed.
Team size: 2-4 members. Individual participation is not permitted. Each participant can be part of only one team. One member must be designated as the Team Leader. Cross-year teams are also allowed.

Round 2: 24-Hour Offline Build
IIT Dhanbad Sprint: 9th October, 11:00 AM - 10th October, 11:00
AM Duration: 24 hours Shortlisted teams will receive a fresh problem brief and compete in an intense 24-hour sprint to develop their strategy and build a working product solution. Teams are encouraged to leverage modern development tools to bring their ideas to life. AI-assisted development and vibe coding are permitted for building the prototype. However, the final solution must demonstrate the team's own product thinking, judgement, and understanding of the problem.
Deliverables: PDF presentation deck Working prototype - may be built using AI-assisted tools, no-code/low-code platforms, or vibe coding, provided it is functional and demonstrates the core solution.

October Finalists: Top 10 teams The finalists will present their solutions before a jury panel comprising experienced product leaders from leading companies The top three teams will also receive trophies and certificates. Additional opportunities such as internships or PPIs may be announced by the case partner/title sponsor. Rules & Regulations Each participant can belong to only one team. All submissions must be the original work of the participating team. Plagiarism, copying, fabricated citations or misrepresentation may result in disqualification. All external statistics, figures, benchmarks and claims must be appropriately cited. During Round 2, teams may not receive substantive assistance from anyone outside their registered team. Pre-built work cannot be submitted as Round 2 sprint output. Remote participation is not permitted in Rounds 2 and 3. Shortlisted teams must report physically for Round 2. Teams must adhere to all submission formats and deadlines. Any form of sabotage, unauthorised access to another team's work, or unfair means may lead to immediate disqualification. Participants must maintain proper conduct and follow IIT (ISM) Dhanbad campus regulations. The decisions of the jury and organising committee will be final and binding. Ready to move beyond the case?
