techFEST 2026 is North India's premier technical festival, organised as part of techFEST'26 - Annual Technical Festival of SLIET. Showcase your talent, compete with the sharpest minds and earn your prizes. Event Overview The Cognitive Challenges is a series of surprise games and challenges designed to test participants' creative thinking, critical reasoning, pattern recognition, and problem solving abilities. Unlike a traditional quiz, this event has no fixed number of rounds or format teams will face a variable set of challenges, which may include scenario based problem solving, lateral thinking puzzles, pattern/visual recognition tasks, and similar creative-reasoning exercises. The exact games, their number, and their format will be decided and revealed only on the day of the event, so teams must be ready to think on their feet.

Register Now: https://www.techfest26.com/package Format The event will consist of multiple short games/challenges conducted in sequence. The number, type, and structure of challenges will be decided by the organizing committee and will not be disclosed in advance. Challenges may test different skills across the event logical reasoning, lateral thinking, quick estimation, pattern recognition, and on the spot decision making. Teams will be scored across all challenges they participate in cumulative performance determines final rankings .

Accommodation and Meals: Registration for the techFEST’26 package is compulsory for accommodation and other perks, while participation in individual events is free*. Judgement Criteria Scoring will be based on cumulative performance across all challenges conducted during the event, weighted at the organizing committee's discretion depending on each challenge's difficulty and format. The judging is completely on the organizing/judging committee's discretion. Their decision will be final. Team Specification & Eligibility Each team must consist of upto 4 members from any Institute and from any branch with a valid ID card of their respective Institute. While registering, you must select a unique team name which should not be inappropriate, offensive, or conflicting. Each Team must specify a team representative for communication. One person can participate in one team only. Rules and Regulations No prior information about the challenges will be shared before the event; teams must be prepared to think on the spot. Use of mobile phones, internet, or any external reference material during the event is strictly prohibited. The judge's decision is final. Teams must not interfere with other teams during the event. Maintain the decorum during the whole event. Certification Policy Certificate of Excellence for top teams. Participation certificates for all teams. Prize distribution based on judge-assigned points.
