DiamondHacks is a thrilling 36-hour hackathon tournament organized by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) at UC San Diego, taking place on April 3–4, 2027. This event brings together the sharpest minds from universities across San Diego to collaborate and create innovative projects.
Hundreds of hackers will team up to showcase their skills through various creative tracks. Participants can attend workshops to refine their craft and join social events to build alliances with other talented students. The event celebrates innovation, creativity, and community within the tech space.
Eligibility: Any undergraduate student enrolled in any college or university is eligible to attend. Hackers of all experience levels are welcome; beginners have the chance to win prizes specifically designed for first-time hackers. Workshops and mentors are available to help participants get started.
Past Impact: Over the years, DiamondHacks has seen: * 160+ projects created * 600+ total attendees * $5000+ in prizes awarded
