E-CONSTRUCT 2026 Organized by Association of Civil Engineers (ACE), BIT Sindri About the Competition: E-CONSTRUCT is a photography and storytelling competition organized by the Association of Civil Engineers (ACE), BIT Sindri. The event celebrates remarkable civil engineering structures and encourages participants to showcase their appreciation for engineering marvels through original photographs and meaningful narratives. Participants are required to submit an original photograph of their favorite civil engineering structure along with a short write-up explaining its significance and why they admire it. Whether it is a bridge, building, dam, monument, tower, highway, tunnel, or any other engineering masterpiece, this competition provides an opportunity to highlight its architectural beauty, engineering excellence, historical significance, and impact on society. Eligibility: Open to students from any college or university across India. Open to students from all branches and specializations. Individual participation only. No restriction on the year of study. Competition Format: Number of Rounds: 1. Mode: Online. Submission Platform: Unstop. Participants are required to submit: One original photograph. A description of 50–150 words. Submission Guidelines: Participants must submit: One original photograph featuring their favorite civil engineering structure. The structure may include: Buildings. Bridges. Towers. Monuments. Dams. Highways. Tunnels. Any other civil engineering structure. The participant must appear in the submitted photograph, either individually or as part of a group. The accompanying description (50–150 words) should explain: Why the structure is special. Its unique engineering or architectural features. Its historical significance, if applicable. Its impact on the community or society. Rules: Only original photographs will be accepted. Photoshopped, AI-generated, or heavily edited images are strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification. The participant must appear in the submitted photograph. Only one entry per participant is permitted. The description must be between 50 and 150 words. Entries containing inappropriate or plagiarized content will be rejected. The decision of the organizing committee and judges shall be final and binding. Evaluation Criteria: The final results will be based on: 70% – Public Engagement (Likes, Comments, and Shares on the official post). 30% – Judges' Evaluation. Judges will evaluate entries based on: Originality. Creativity. Quality of Photography. Relevance of the Description. Overall Presentation. Special Recognition: A Special Recognition Award will be presented to the participant who showcases an underrated or lesser-known civil engineering structure through exceptional storytelling and significance.
