Blueprint is a one-week digital hackathon for secondary school students, organized by FUSE Society in partnership with Free Geek. Participants will identify a business challenge facing a real company and design a digital solution to address it, demonstrating analytical rigour, creativity, and commercial judgment. Each team will submit a solution together with a recorded presentation explaining the work.
No prior programming experience is required. Under the core evaluation criteria, submissions are assessed on the quality of the analysis and the suitability of the proposed solution rather than on technical polish, and a clickable prototype produced in a design tool is scored on equal terms with a coded application. A separate Technical Execution bonus of up to 10 points is available at both judging stages to teams submitting a functioning technical build. The bonus is additional to the core criteria, is capped at 10 points of a possible 100, and is never used to resolve a tie between teams. All participating teams will receive written feedback from the judging panel.
The winning team will receive a grand prize of $250.
