The Google Cloud AI Builder Cup, powered by Hack2skill, is an open invitation to working professionals in the Asia-Pacific (JAPAC) region to tackle real-world business problems with AI. Participants start with a problem they understand, form a team, and build a solution on Google Cloud to demonstrate how something built for a local need can scale globally.
The premise is simple: you get a real-world problem, you get to form your team, and you have a few weeks to build something that solves it before submitting it for evaluation. The most potential solutions move on to an in-person finale where teams from across the JAPAC region come together to demo their creations in front of a live panel of Google Cloud and industry experts. The Demo Day will be happening in Singapore, with sponsored travel provided.
This edition is open to working professionals only. Students are not eligible to participate. Eligibility may be verified at any point, and any team or participant found to include a student will be disqualified, including after shortlisting or selection for the finale.
