HackNC is a weekend event designed for students of all skill levels to broaden their talents. The core challenge involves creating an awesome project in just 24 hours.
Participants will have access to hands-on tech workshops, sponsor networking opportunities, and exciting talks about current developments in computer science and technology. The event also provides free food, shirts, stickers, and swag.
This year, HackNC is running as a completely in-person hackathon featuring fun events and workshops. It is a beginner-friendly event with a specific project track for beginners, offering resources such as beginner workshops and mentors to help participants get started.
Teams can be organized prior to the event or formed during the hackathon itself. While teams are welcome if already assembled, the event includes a team-building session for those looking to meet other participants. A team size of around 3-4 members is strongly recommended.
