HackSprint is a 6-hour hackathon where creativity, coding, problem-solving, and adaptability come together. Teams will be given a challenge domain and will have to transform their ideas into a working web application within a limited time. But there's a twist — the challenge doesn't end with your initial idea. During the hackathon, teams will encounter a surprise challenge that will force them to rethink, adapt, and enhance their solution. How creatively your team responds to the unexpected could make all the difference. Offline Team Size: 2–4 participants What You Need Laptop with a working development environment Laptop charger, extension board Basic knowledge of web development Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is recommended Knowledge of any frontend & backend framework is an advantage Participants are free to use their preferred programming languages, frameworks, libraries and development tools. What You'll Build A functional web application based on the domain revealed during the event. Teams will need to submit: GitHub Repository Live Deployed Application Pitch Deck Hacksprint Flow Round 1 — Check-In & Reveal Get registered, settle in with your team, and discover the challenge domain assigned to you. Round 2 — Ideate & Build Brainstorm your solution, define your approach, and start building your web application. AI-assisted development tools are permitted, but participants must understand and be able to explain their implementation Round 3 — the Twist Just when you think you've got it figured out, expect the unexpected. A surprise challenge will be introduced during the hackathon. Teams will have to adapt their existing idea and integrate the new challenge into their solution. Round 4 — Build, Deploy & Submit Complete your application, integrate the twist, deploy your project and submit your final deliverables. Final Round — Pitch & Q&a Present your product to the judges, demonstrate your solution and defend your decisions during the Q&A. The best teams won't just build. They'll adapt. Rules & Guidlines Follow the team size. Participants must bring their own laptops and chargers. The project must be developed during the hackathon. AI-assisted development tools are permitted, but participants must understand and be able to explain their implementation. Teams must submit a GitHub repository, deployed application link, presentation and pitch deck before the submission deadline. Plagiarism, copying another team's work or unfair practices will result in disqualification. Teams must ensure that all third-party assets, APIs, libraries and datasets used are legally usable. Participants are expected to maintain professional conduct throughout the event.
