HackUTD is North America's largest 24-hour university hackathon, hosted at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, TX. The event inspires students to innovate and learn new technologies through challenges, free food and merch, fun games, and activities.
HackUTD aims to make its events accessible and open to everyone. While the team focuses on bringing about a yearly hackathon, they also assist with other hackathons on campus and around the DFW metroplex, as well as host helpful workshops for hackers to get involved before and after hacking.
The event typically takes place over two days (dates are likely November 14-15) and is held at the Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) West building. Participants can expect an immersive experience featuring unique elements such as new mascots introduced each year.
