HR Auction is an engaging recruitment simulation that challenges teams to think like HR leaders. Using a virtual budget, participants will compete in a live auction to recruit the best talent for designated job roles. Strategic bidding, budget management, adaptability, and teamwork will be key as teams navigate surprise twists before presenting their final recruitment strategy to the jury. Participants registered for the HR Auction are not permitted to participate in any other event of the festival. Each team will be allotted a virtual recruitment budget of ₹2 crore. Teams must recruit candidates for four specified job roles, which will be announced at the beginning of the event. All hiring must be completed within the allotted virtual budget. Bids must be placed only in multiples of ₹1,00,000. Custom or uneven bid amounts will not be accepted. Once a team successfully recruits a candidate for a particular job role, it cannot bid for another candidate for the same role. Teams must not exceed their allotted virtual budget (corpus) at any stage of the auction. There will be no re-auction under any circumstances. Candidate swapping, trading, or any form of collaboration between teams is strictly prohibited. Two surprise twists will be introduced during the event. Teams are expected to adapt their recruitment strategies accordingly. At the conclusion of the auction, each team must present its final hiring strategy and team structure before the jury. In the event of a tie, the remaining virtual purse (unused budget) will be considered as the tie-breaker. The team with the higher remaining purse will be ranked higher. Formal attire is mandatory for all participants. The management team's decisions regarding the rules, disputes, and event outcomes shall be final and binding on all participants.
