Put your engineering skills to the test as your rocket takes flight, demonstrating precision, creativity, and practical problem-solving. Eligibility: Open to all students. Team size: 1 to 5 members. Inter-college and inter-specialization teams allowed. One member must be designated as the Team Leader. Event Details: Format: Two-stage competition. Round 1: Design Report Submission (Online). Round 2: Rocket Launch & Evaluation (Offline at MANIT, Bhopal). Challenge Objective: Design, fabricate, and launch a reusable water rocket with a safe and effective recovery system. System Focus: Aerodynamics, propulsion, structural design, recovery systems, flight stability, and engineering documentation. Registration & Design Report Submission Deadline: 10 August 2026. Launch Day: 22 August 2026. Rules: One Design Report Per Team. Launch Participation Mandatory: Only registered teams will participate in the launch round at MANIT, Bhopal. Original Work Only: Rocket design and documentation must be the team's own work. Follow Rocket Specifications: Size, pressure, propellant, and safety limits specified in the rulebook must be strictly followed. Technical Evaluation: Teams must explain their design decisions and answer questions from the evaluation panel. Water and Compressed Air Only: Chemical propellants or combustible materials are strictly prohibited. Disqualification: Submission of copied, pre-existing, or AI-generated documentation. Exceeding the maximum pressure limit or violating rocket specifications. Use of prohibited propellants or unsafe launch practices. Failure to comply with safety regulations or competition guidelines. Misconduct, interference with other teams, or unsafe operation during launch.
