About the Event: Innovation X is an intensive innovation sprint where participants identify real-world problems and develop working technological solutions. The event focuses on creativity, technical execution, rapid prototyping, teamwork, and presentation skills. Teams work through the complete product-development process, from ideation and problem validation to MVP development and final pitching.
Objective: To encourage innovative solutions to real-world problems. To develop participants' problem-solving and product-development skills. To promote rapid prototyping and practical implementation. To encourage interdisciplinary teamwork and technological creativity. To evaluate the feasibility, scalability, and potential impact of proposed solutions. To develop technical communication and pitching skills.
Problem Statement: Teams must identify a real-world problem from the provided problem domains or propose their own problem with prior approval. They must develop a functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within 10–12 days using any suitable technology, including hardware, software, IoT, AI/ML, web, mobile, or a combination of technologies. The final solution must include: A working prototype Technical architecture/documentation Source-code repository Pitch deck
Event Structure: Stage 1 – Ideation &
Problem Validation: Teams identify a real-world problem and define their proposed solution, target users, and value proposition. Stage 2 – Prototype /
MVP Development: Teams develop a functional MVP during the 10–12 day event. Any suitable technology stack may be used. Pre-built projects are not permitted. Stage 3 – Final
Presentation & Evaluation: Teams demonstrate their working prototype and present their technical architecture, implementation, and solution. The final presentation consists of a 10-minute pitch followed by 5 minutes of Q&A with the judging panel.
Rules and Regulations: Teams must consist of 2–3 members . One member must be designated as the Team Lead . Projects and implementations must be original. Mock-ups or wireframes alone will not be accepted; a functional prototype is mandatory. Source code must be maintained in a GitHub repository with regular commits throughout the event. Every team must present its solution to the judges. Any programming language, framework, hardware platform, or technology stack may be used.
