Overview Investor's Dilemma 2026 – Startup Investment & Venture Capital Case Competition ₹100 crores (Virtual Amount). One day. Your call. Everyone wants to pitch to investors. Investor's Dilemma — a startup investment challenge by the E-Cell of PW Institute of Innovation (PW IOI), Pune — asks the harder question: could you actually be one? This competition flips the classic pitch event on its head. You'll take on the role of a Partner at a VC firm managing a virtual fund of ₹100 crores and analyse a portfolio of startups competing for investment. Dissect business models, spot the red flags others missed, allocate your fund — with no take-backs — and defend every rupee before a jury of entrepreneurs, investors, and startup mentors. One wrong bet and your portfolio bleeds. One right one and you may have found the next unicorn. Every decision defines the outcome. Eligibility Open to everyone, including students, professionals, and aspiring investors.

Team size: 2–5 members. Cross-college and mixed teams are allowed. Each participant can register only once. A valid ID is mandatory at the venue. Rules Decisions must be made within the allotted time for each round. Late submissions will not be accepted. Fund allocations, once submitted, are final and binding. Plagiarism or malpractice will result in immediate disqualification. The jury's decision will be final at every stage. Organisers reserve the right to modify the format or schedule if required.
