Junction is a flagship event gathering builders under one roof for 48 hours to change the center of the new tech renaissance. Since 2015, Junction has been organizing world-class hackathon events across the globe, bringing together talented developers, designers, and innovators for 48-hour sprints that produce real-world impact.
Who Can Participate Developers, designers, and business strategists are all welcome; every skill set has a place. There is no gatekeeping or prerequisites required. Participants can apply as an individual or as part of a team. The event attracts hackers from 130+ countries, with over 10,000 participants having competed in past editions.
Format and Challenges The event follows a strict 48-hour format. Partner companies bring actual problems from the real world, allowing participants to ship actual solutions rather than working with toy datasets or fake clients. Teams tackle these challenges to compete for prizes.
Prizes and Impact Winners can receive cash, hardware, and direct pipelines to top internships and jobs. Winning teams have gone on to raise funding. Additionally, €300 and €100 travel grants are available for international participants to ensure the center of gravity is not limited by where you happen to start.
Volunteering and Partnerships Beyond hacking, individuals can volunteer to be the backbone of the event, gaining full access to all activities and networking opportunities. Companies can also become partners to post real challenges and get 48 hours of dedicated hacking power from the world's best early-career talent.
