Niti-in-Quest is a quiz event geared towards one thing: Can you spot the policy hiding in plain sight? From politics to pop culture, from courtrooms to classrooms, from cinema to civic life, this is where everyday India becomes the puzzle. Built for those who can look at an image, hear a sound, recognize a line, connect a film, read a number, catch a clue, and crack the larger story behind it. Niti-in-Quest turns public policy into a fast, visual, and high-energy game of clues, connections, and quick thinking. It brings together the energy of a quiz and the intelligence of public policy. Competition Format: The quiz unfolds in two stages. Stage 1 – The Qualifier: All registered teams participate in a short, fast-paced qualifying round. This stage will test quick recall, observation, current affairs, policy basics, and the ability to connect the dots. Stage 2 – The Finale: Shortlisted teams move to the main stage: a high-energy mix of rapid questions, visual and audio clues, pop culture connections, policy puzzles, and audience engagement. The final two rounds of Stage 2 introduce a debate format designed to test how teams think through policy dilemmas, understand trade-offs, represent stakeholder concerns, and respond to real-world crisis situations. Who Can Participate? Open to students across disciplines, including Arts & Science, Public Policy, Law, Economics, Media, Politics, Liberal Arts, Governance, Engineering, and anyone who enjoys cracking connections. What's in Store? Expect speed, surprise, audience moments, policy puzzles, stakeholder twists, and questions that make everyday India feel like a game worth cracking. The event will include quick questions, image- and sound-based clues, pop culture references, current affairs, numbers, symbols, and real-world situations. Some questions will test recall, some observation, and some will test how well teams can connect seemingly unrelated ideas. This is not just about knowing the right answer. It is about speed, instinct, teamwork, judgment, and the ability to think on your feet. Rules: Each team must have exactly two members. Participants must register before the deadline. Teams must report to the venue on time. Phones and internet access will not be permitted during quiz rounds. The quizmaster's decision will be final for all factual rounds. Judged rounds will be evaluated on clarity, reasoning, teamwork, and policy judgment. Any form of malpractice may result in disqualification.
