LA Hacks is celebrating its 14th anniversary as Southern California's premier collegiate hackathon. The event welcomes over 1,000 participants, mentors, volunteers, and sponsors to UCLA in mid-April 2027.
The hackathon features notable industry leaders; for instance, Evan Spiegel, Co-Founder and CEO of Snap, has previously spoken at the event. He delivered a keynote speech at LA Hacks 2014 and returned in 2025 for a fireside chat discussing building a global consumer tech platform, leading Snap’s growth, product vision, and user-centered innovation.
