Line Follower Race
Team Size: 1–3 members per team
Eligibility: Open to all undergraduate and diploma engineering students Rounds / Format ● Round 1 –
Qualification: Each robot attempts the track once; robots that complete the track within the cutoff time qualify. ● Round 2 –
Final: Qualified robots run again on a more complex track; fastest completion time wins. Rules & Regulations ● Robots must be fully autonomous and rely solely on onboard sensors for navigation. ●
Maximum robot dimensions: 25 cm x 25 cm x 25 cm. ● Manual restarts are allowed only at designated checkpoints, with a time penalty applied. ● Any physical contact with track boundaries beyond a specified tolerance results in a penalty or disqualification for that run. ● Teams must use their own robot; swapping robots between team members mid-competition is not allowed.
