The NVIDIA x Nebius Global AI Hackathon invites AI builders, ML engineers, founders, and anyone shipping practical, high-performance AI to build a working AI system on open, independent infrastructure. Participants will develop projects using NVIDIA open source models served on Nebius through Nebius Token Factory, leveraging high-performance GPU infrastructure. The event offers technical onboarding, casual workshops, team formation, focused build time, and feedback opportunities.
Requirements All submissions must run on either Nebius Token Factory or Nebius AI Cloud and utilize at least one NVIDIA open source model.
Tracks Projects must fit into one of the following categories: * Coding and Agentic Engineering Track: Build coding agents and developer tools that write, run, and test code in Token Factory Sandboxes. * Best Apps and Agents Track: Create usable apps or agents (e.g., productivity tools, copilots, self-running workflows) powered by Nemotron models via Token Factory. Participants are encouraged to deploy using Nebius Serverless Endpoints or Jobs for background processing. * Personal AI Track: Develop an always-on, private assistant with persistent memory, reusable skills, and access to chosen tools. Projects should use at least one NVIDIA open source model and tools like NVIDIA NemoClaw, OpenShell, Hermes Agent, and Nebius Serverless. * Physical AI Track: Build embodied and edge agents (robotics, IoT, on-device intelligence) powered by Nemotron, GROOT, Cosmos, and Sonic models. Submissions require a demo video including at least one minute of footage showing physical hardware operating or key application modules in action.
Submission Requirements Participants must submit a working project, select a category, provide a project description, and include a working demo URL (not required for Physical AI). A public YouTube video (3 minutes or less) demonstrating the project is required; Physical AI entries must show hardware operation. Additionally, a public code repository with an open-source license and a README is mandatory. Participants should also provide feedback on the platforms used.
Judging Criteria Projects are evaluated on Technological Implementation, Design (coherent product experience), Potential Impact (solving real problems), and Quality of the Idea (creative use of tools).
Prizes Awards include Grand Prize, 2nd Place, 3rd Place, track-specific winners (Coding, Best Apps, Personal AI, Physical AI), Best Use of Tavily, City Winner Awards, and Most Valuable Feedback recognition.
