NeuraX Hackathon 3.0 is a competitive 24-hour hackathon where participants transform innovative ideas into working technology solutions. The event focuses on solving real-world problems using Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies. Official Themes Participants can choose ONE of the following official tracks: AI in Industry Automation AI in Cybersecurity AI in Smart Cities The Round 1 idea/abstract must be aligned with the selected official theme. Team size: 3–4 participants At least one team member must be a currently enrolled student Cross-institution teams are welcome Participants from different colleges/institutions can form a team. Teams must submit an original idea related to one of the official themes. Round 1 – Abstract
Online Participation: Free The first round requires teams to submit an abstract based on their selected theme. The abstract should clearly explain: Problem statement Proposed solution Innovation Technology/AI approach Expected impact Feasibility and scalability Abstract
Submission Deadline: 13th September 2026 The submitted ideas will be evaluated and shortlisted teams will proceed to the final hackathon. Round 1 Evaluation Ideas will be evaluated based on: Theme relevance Innovation and creativity Problem relevance Technical feasibility Potential impact Clarity of the proposed solution Round 2 – NeuraX
Hackathon Date: 19–20
CMR Technical Campus Duration: 24 Hours Shortlisted teams will participate in the main hackathon. The problem statements/challenges will be revealed according to the organizers' hackathon process. Teams will analyze the challenge and build a working solution within the given hackathon duration. ️ Building Rules All code must be written during the official event window. Open-source libraries and public APIs are permitted. Any pre-existing designs or datasets must be disclosed at submission. Teams must develop a functional solution suitable for demonstration. Final Evaluation Projects will be judged on: Innovation Technical Depth Execution Real-world Impact Functionality Presentation & Demonstration Each team will give a 5-minute live demonstration followed by Q&A . Judges' decisions will be final.
