Event Overview OPTIQUEST 2026 is a technical programming competition organized by the Department of Computer Applications, R.V.R. & J.C. College of Engineering (Autonomous) . Conducted as part of the department’s Technical Fest and associated with the SWAA Club , the event is designed to challenge students’ programming knowledge, logical thinking, debugging skills, and problem-solving abilities. The competition brings together students from B.Tech, M.Tech, and M.C.A. programs in teams of two, providing a platform to demonstrate their technical proficiency and compete through multiple levels of programming challenges.

Competition Structure: The event consists of two rounds, progressing from fundamental programming knowledge to advanced coding and problem-solving challenges. 1.
Technical Proficiency Test Time: 10:30 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
Format: Multiple Choice
Questions (MCQs) Topics: C, Java, and
Python Focus: Syntax, logic, and problem-solving
Objective: To assess participants’ fundamental programming knowledge and identify the top teams for the final round. 2.
The Final Frontier Time: 01:00 P.M. to 03:00 P.M.
Advanced coding challenge Eligibility: Only the top-performing teams from Round 1 qualify
Challenges Include: Advanced Coding Challenges Debugging Sprints Algorithm
Optimization Objective: To test participants’ ability to solve complex programming problems efficiently and apply their technical knowledge under competitive conditions.
Rewards and Recognition: The event offers cash prizes to the top three teams:
First Prize: Rs. 2,000/-
Second Prize: Rs. 1,500/-
Third Prize: Rs. 1,000/-
Recognition: Certificates of Merit will be awarded to all participants who qualify for and participate in the Final Round. Registration & Eligibility Students from B.Tech, M.Tech, and M.C.A. programs are eligible to participate. Each team must consist of two members .
