Organized in collaboration with INFORMS, Google Developer Groups (GDG), and UnsaidTalks, Orion aims to foster innovation, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and the development of impactful solutions that address challenges across industries.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

Participating in Orion Global Hackathon is easy. Participants can participate solo or create a team of up to 5 members. Diverse teams often build the strongest solutions.
Develop an innovative solution in one of the following areas:

Create a working prototype using any programming language, framework, cloud platform, or AI technology.

Projects will be evaluated based on:

The best teams will receive cash prizes, certificates, global recognition, networking opportunities, and exclusive exposure within the innovation ecosystem.
Prizes include $1,000 in total:
- Winner: $500 in cash. It might be distributed in case there is a tie breaker. Also the winner gets a free program from UnsaidTalks. Free mentorship calls and internship opportunity.
- Second Winner: $300 in cash. It might be distributed in case there is a tie breaker. Also the winner gets a free program from UnsaidTalks.
- Third Winner: $200 in cash. It might be distributed in case there is a tie breaker. Also the winner gets a free program from UnsaidTalks.
Judging Criteria:
- Innovation & Creativity (25%): How unique and original is the solution? Does it introduce a novel approach or significantly improve existing solutions?
- Technical Excellence (25%): Quality of software engineering, architecture, scalability, implementation, and technical complexity.
- Real-World Impact (20%): How effectively does the solution solve an important problem? Is it practical and capable of creating measurable impact?
- User Experience & Design (15%): Ease of use, accessibility, interface design, and overall user experience.
- Presentation & Demonstration (15%): Quality of the project demonstration, storytelling, documentation, and ability to communicate the solution effectively.
