About the MUN: PactaNova MUN is a dynamic and intellectually engaging Model United Nations experience under Nivaan, the annual sustainability initiative of the Social Impact Cell (SIC), SIBM Pune. Designed to simulate the complexities of global diplomacy, the competition challenges participants to negotiate, deliberate, and collaborate on pressing international issues surrounding energy transition, sustainability, geopolitics, and economic development. Representing nations and stakeholders, participants will navigate evolving global scenarios, defend national interests, build alliances, and draft impactful resolutions while balancing economic growth, energy security, and environmental responsibility. PactaNova MUN provides an immersive platform to strengthen negotiation, diplomacy, public speaking, and strategic leadership skills. Rules and Regulations: A team shall consist of 1-2 members. All rounds of the competition will be conducted online. Both team members must be from the same institute. Participants should be pursuing an Undergraduate degree or above in any discipline. There is no restriction on the number of teams from a single institute. One student cannot be a part of more than one team. No changes in team structure will be permitted after registration.
