Pitching Competition: Turn your startup idea into a compelling story and pitch it to the judges! The Pitching Competition provides participants with an opportunity to present an existing startup or a new business idea and demonstrate their understanding of the problem, solution, market, business model, feasibility, scalability, and overall potential.
Competition Format: Round 1 – Online
Video Submission: Participants are required to submit a 5-minute pitch video presenting their startup or business idea through the Google Drive submission mechanism specified by the organizers. Final Round –
Offline Pitching: Shortlisted teams will advance to the physical final round at DCRUST, where they will present their startup/business idea in a live pitching round. The final round will have approximately 20–25 teams.
Participants may present: A new startup or business idea. An existing startup. A physical prototype is not mandatory.
Use of AI: Participants may use AI during their preparation and development process. However, participants remain responsible for: Originality of their final work. Accuracy of the information presented. Understanding of their business. Quality of their final presentation.
Social Cause Bonus: Additional marks may be awarded for a proposal that meaningfully contributes to a social or environmental cause, such as environmental improvement, sustainability, social welfare, or community benefit. The social impact must be genuine and meaningful rather than a superficial claim.
