About the Competition: PitchVerse: Ideas That Shape the Future – Business Plan Pitch Competition PitchVerse is a premier Business Pitch Competition organized by the Department of Management Studies (DMS), Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), as part of Tech Fest 2026. The competition is designed to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic thinking by providing a platform for students to present impactful business ideas and startup concepts. Whether you have a disruptive startup idea, a solution to a real-world problem, or a scalable business model, PitchVerse gives you the opportunity to showcase your vision before an esteemed panel of judges, receive valuable feedback, and compete for exciting awards and recognition. Venue: IT Building, Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering, Wanadongri, Nagpur – 441110. Prizes: Winner: ₹15,000. Runner-up: ₹10,000. Second Runner-up: ₹5,000. Judging Criteria: Innovation and creativity – 20%. Market potential – 20%. Financial plan – 20%. Presentation skills – 20%. Feasibility – 20%. Rules and Regulations: The business idea must be original and should not be copied from an existing startup or previously submitted competition. Each team can have up to 4 members. The idea should be innovative, feasible, and practical. Each team will get 8 minutes for the presentation. A warning bell will be given at the 6-minute mark. Judges will have 2–3 minutes for questions and discussion. The presentation must follow the prescribed PPT format. Participants may present in English or Hindi, provided the judges can clearly understand the presentation. Participants are expected to wear formal business attire during the presentation. Any violation of the rules, submission of false information, or unethical practices may result in disqualification. The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding.
