About the Event Pixel Wizard is a dynamic, 24-hour web development competition where student developers transform a problem statement into a functional, visually appealing web solution. Participants work in teams to demonstrate practical web development skills, user-interface design, functionality, creativity and clean coding practices. Stage 1: Registration Teams must register for the competition through Unstop by providing accurate and valid participant information. All required details must be completed and submitted before the registration deadline to successfully confirm participation.
Stage 2: Problem Release After confirming your registration and presence, the official problem statement is released to all participating teams. The statement outlines the requirements, objectives, constraints and expected outcomes. Teams are responsible for carefully understanding the problem before beginning their development work. The Problem Statement will be shared at the very beginning of the 24-hour hackathon on the event day.
Stage 3: Development Teams work on designing, developing, testing and refining their web solution within the allotted 24-hour competition period. Participants may plan their interface, implement required functionality, debug issues and continuously improve their project according to the problem statement.
Stage 4: Repository Setup Throughout development, teams must maintain their complete source code in a GitHub repository named according to their official registered team name. The repository should contain the necessary project files, source code, documentation and other required resources.
Stage 5: Submission Before the submission deadline, teams must submit their GitHub repository URL along with all other required project details through the official submission form. Teams should verify that the repository is accessible and contains the final version of their project.

Stage 6: Evaluation After submission, judges evaluate each project according to the competition's predefined evaluation criteria. The assessment may consider factors such as functionality, creativity, user interface, technical implementation, usability, code quality and overall adherence to the given problem statement. Solution Quality: How effectively the project addresses the given problem statement.
User Interface: Visual clarity, layout, consistency, responsiveness and overall user experience.
Functionality: Whether the implemented features work correctly and provide a usable experience.
Code Quality: Organisation, readability, maintainability and adherence to clean coding practices.
Overall Implementation: Completeness, creativity, polish and quality of the final digital solution. Rules and Regulations – General Rules All participants must carry a valid college ID card and their techFEST'26 registration receipt. Reporting time will be communicated to registered teams; late reporting may lead to a walkover. The decision of the judges and organisers will be final and binding in all matters. Any form of misconduct, plagiarism, copying another team's project or use of unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification. Participants are responsible for their own equipment and personal belongings. Organisers reserve the right to modify any rule at any time; updates will be announced through official channels.
Team size: minimum 2 and maximum 3 members per team. Every team member must be registered on Unstop.
Permitted technology stack: HTML, CSS, React, Tailwind, Bootstrap and Vanilla JavaScript. External libraries, frameworks or technologies outside this list are prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Repository naming: Teams must use their official team name as the GitHub repository name.
