PROMPTOTHON 2026: AI Edition is a 24-hour AI hackathon open to everyone, challenging participants to build innovative and impactful solutions using AI/ML, LLMs & Automation, and Open Innovation. The event brings together students, developers, innovators, creators, and AI enthusiasts for an intense building experience. The goal is simple: identify a meaningful problem, leverage AI effectively, and build a working solution that creates real-world value.
Participants can build their solutions under one of the following tracks: - LLMs & Automation: Build applications using LLMs, Generative AI, AI Agents, RAG, prompt engineering, workflow automation, and related technologies. - AI/ML: Build solutions using Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, NLP, predictive analytics, and intelligent systems. - Open Innovation: Identify a real-world problem and create an innovative technology-driven solution.
Each team must submit its final project through a Kaggle Writeup before the deadline. A valid submission must include:
1. Kaggle Writeup: Explaining the project title, problem statement, solution overview, innovation, how AI is used, technology stack, system architecture, implementation details, challenges, future scope, and team members.
2. Media Gallery: Including relevant images, screenshots, diagrams, and a required cover image.
3. Public Notebook: Attaching project code as a public Kaggle Notebook in the Project Files field with sufficient documentation.
4. Project Demo Video: A video (3 minutes or less) demonstrating the problem, solution, key features, AI implementation, and working demonstration.
5. Public Project Link: A publicly accessible link to the working product or interactive demo, or a public code repository (e.g., GitHub) with setup instructions if a live demo is not feasible.
Prizes are awarded for Overall Champion and track-specific winners: - Overall Champion: $104 - LLMs & Automation: 1st ($62), 2nd ($41) - AI/ML: 1st ($62), 2nd ($41) - Open Innovation: Winner ($61), Runner Up ($41)
All submissions will be evaluated based on skill, merit, technical execution, innovation, and real-world impact using a 100-point rubric covering Innovation & Originality (20 pts), Technical Implementation (25 pts), Effective Use of AI (20 pts), Problem Relevance & Impact (15 pts), User Experience & Usability (10 pts), and Scalability & Feasibility (10 pts). In the event of a tie, judges may consider Technical Implementation, Innovation & Originality, and Effective Use of AI as tie-breaking factors.
