Eligibility: Open to students from all colleges. UG and PG students are eligible. Each college can participate with one team of 4 members. Inter-college team members are not allowed; all 4 participants must represent the same college.
Guidelines: Topics and assigned stances will be shared one week prior to the event. The competition will have Preliminary and Final Rounds. The top 2 teams from the Preliminary Round will advance to the Final. Finalists will receive a new topic on the spot, followed by preparation time. Both rounds will include argument and rebuttal segments.
Rules: All 4 team members must participate. Maintain relevant, respectful, and professional arguments. Personal attacks and offensive language are prohibited. Teams must strictly adhere to allotted time limits. Rebuttals must directly address the opposing arguments. Misconduct or unfair assistance may result in disqualification. The judges’/moderators’ decision will be final and binding.
