About the Challenge: SimuCode Robotics Challenge Week 2026 is a free, solo, timed robotics coding challenge running from 17–25 July 2026. Unlike traditional coding competitions, every problem is based on real production-style robotics faults and is matched to the participant's experience level and discipline. The challenge is entirely browser-based, providing access to a live terminal, TF tree, rqt_graph, and ROS logs without requiring any local ROS setup, Gazebo installation, or workspace configuration. Format: Individual participation only. Choose any 3-hour slot between 17–25 July 2026. Register and receive a unique challenge link. Open the link when your selected slot begins. Solve your role-matched robotics problem. Submit your solution before the slot ends. View your ranking on the live leaderboard. Problem Areas: Motion Planning Robot Control and Velocity Computation ROS2 Topic and Transform Debugging Perception Pipelines Navigation and Localisation Eligibility: Open to robotics students, freshers, and working professionals. Problems are matched to each participant's experience level during registration. Rules: Individual participation only; teams are not allowed. Only one registration per participant. Solutions must be submitted within the selected 3-hour slot. Code must be written during the challenge window; pre-written solutions are not permitted. All submissions will be automatically evaluated against real test cases.
