Overview The FLAME Centre for Case Development is delighted to announce SMART TANK 5.0 , a national-level case competition that brings together ambitious student minds to tackle complex, real-world business challenges. Participants will analyse problems, develop strategic and innovative solutions, and present their recommendations before an expert panel. More than a competition, Smart Tank is a platform to test analytical thinking, creativity, business acumen, and decision-making under pressure. It offers students the opportunity to engage with challenging cases, compete with peers from across the country, gain valuable industry exposure, and demonstrate their ability to turn ideas into actionable solutions. Objectives Encouraging practical application of theoretical knowledge. Promoting a problem-solving approach and critical thinking among participants. Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply: Open to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
Team Size: Participation is strictly in teams of 2, individual participation is not allowed. A student cannot be part of multiple teams.
Cross-teams: Cross-course teams are allowed, but cross-college/university teams are not allowed (all team members must be from the same institution). Stages & Timelines

Format: PPT / PDF.
Length: Maximum 3 slides (excluding references and title slide).
File Size & Naming: Maximum 10 MB.
Must follow the convention: TeamName_CollegeName_SmartTank.
Rules: Late submissions are not accepted, but revisions are allowed until the deadline (IST). Plagiarism or AI use above 20% will lead to immediate disqualification.

Finale Date: 4th December 2026
Details: Shortlisted finalists will travel to FLAME University, Pune, to solve a fresh case to a panel of industry experts. Rewards & Prizes
