About the Competition Think fast, code smarter! Spin2Build is an exciting web development competition where participants enhance a common starter website by implementing features revealed through a spin wheel. Instead of building a project from scratch, teams must adapt quickly, solve real development challenges, and showcase their coding skills under time constraints. The event is designed to test participants' problem-solving ability, technical knowledge, creativity, and adaptability while working on a live web application. Eligibility Open to all students. Individual and team participation allowed. Team Size: 1–2 members . Event Format The competition consists of 3 rounds conducted over 3 hours . Every team receives the same starter website to ensure a fair starting point. During each round, the organizers spin a wheel that reveals two feature options . Teams must choose one feature to implement. Features are categorized into: Easy (25 minutes) Medium (45 minutes) Hard (60–75 minutes) At the end of the competition, teams present their completed project and explain the features they implemented. Evaluation Criteria Teams will be evaluated based on: Successful feature implementation Code quality and best practices Creativity and functionality Time management Understanding and explanation of implemented features Bonus points may be awarded for completing features within the allotted time. Rules Teams must consist of 1–2 participants . All teams will receive the same starter website. A minimum of two successfully implemented features is required to qualify for evaluation. AI tools may be used for assistance, but participants must be able to explain their implementation during evaluation. Only work completed during the competition will be considered. Plagiarism, copying another team's solution, or any unfair means will result in immediate disqualification. The decision of the judges and organizers will be final and binding.
