Technoviz Summer of Code (TSOC) 2026 is a community-driven open-source program designed to help students discover the exciting world of software development through collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on project building. Unlike traditional coding competitions, TSOC is a long-duration development program that emphasizes continuous learning, teamwork, and practical implementation. The primary objective is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world software engineering.
The theme of Technoviz Summer of Code (TSOC) 2026 is "Learn, Build, Contribute, and Inspire." Participants are free to work on projects in a wide variety of domains, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Web Development, Mobile Application Development, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Internet of Things (IoT), AR/VR, Robotics, and more. Throughout the program, participants will work on innovative projects either individually or in teams while receiving guidance from experienced mentors, senior students, and industry professionals. Beyond technical learning, TSOC also aims to build a strong developer community where students can network, exchange ideas, and support one another.
The final submission should reflect technical quality and communication. Every participating individual or team must submit their project before the official submission deadline through the designated hackathon platform. Submissions require a publicly accessible GitHub repository, a comprehensive README, a project description, and a demonstration video between 3 and 5 minutes in length.
Prizes include a Winner (1st Place Overall) with a TSOC Champion Title, Featured in Hall of Fame, and Premium TSOC Swag Kit. 1st and 2nd Runner-Ups receive certificates and swag. Theme-Wise Awards are given for AI/ML, Web Development, Mobile Development, Cloud/DevOps, Cybersecurity, Blockchain/Web3, Data Science, Social Impact, UI/UX Design, and Open Source Contribution. Special Awards include Most Innovative Idea, Best Beginner Project, and Best Documentation. All participants receive a Participation Certificate, Completion Badge, and TSOC Contributor Certificate.
