Team Formation: Each Team Will Consist of 3–4 Students. Teams Will Participate Collectively Throughout the Competition. Cross-Disciplinary and Cross-Year Teams Are Permitted. Open to Participants from All Colleges and Institutions. Inter-College Teams Are Permitted. Each Participant May Be Part of Only One Team. Round 1- Online Thinking Test All Registered Teams Will Participate in The Online Round 1 Assessment. The Round Will Assess Analytical Reasoning, Critical Thinking, Judgement, Decision-Making and The Ability to Respond to New Information. Teams Will Be Evaluated on The Quality of Their Responses as Well as How Quickly They Complete the Round. The Assessment Is Intended to Evaluate Independent Thinking and Reasoning. 17
September: Round 1 Results Will Be Declared. The Top 5 Teams Will Be Selected for Round 2. Round 2- Case Study Challenge (online) The 5 Selected Teams Will Receive the Attention Debt Case Study. Teams Will Analyse the Case and Develop a Well-Reasoned Solution. Each Team Will Prepare a Presentation Deck Based on Its Analysis, Strategy and Recommendations. This Is a Non-Eliminative Round , I.E., All 5 Teams Will Proceed to The Final Round on Campus. 21
September: Deadline for Deck Submission (online). Final Round- on Campus/offline The 5 Selected Teams Will Compete in The Final On-Campus Round Through the
Following Stages: Team Presentation- each Team Will Present Its Case-Study Solution. (5 Minutes Presentation + 2 Minutes Q/a) Judges’ Cross-Questioning- judges Will Ask Questions on The Spot Based on The Team’s Proposed Solution and Evaluate how Logically the Team Responds. Confidential Twist / New Development- after All Teams Have Completed Their Presentations and Regular Questioning, the Judges Will Reveal the Same New Development to All Teams. Rethinking Time- Teams Will Receive Approximately 2–3 Minutes to Discuss the New Information and Reconsider Their Original Position. Rethink & Defend- each Team Will Be Called Individually and Must Rethink Its Original Position and Give a Reasoned Argument Defending Its Revised Position, or Explain Why It Is Choosing to Retain Its Original Solution. Final Evaluation & Results- judges Will Evaluate the Teams on Their Presentation, Logical Reasoning, Cross-Questioning Responses, Adaptability, Quality of Argument and Ability to Defend Their Position.
Important Note: The Confidential Twist Will Be Introduced only During the Final Round. It Will Not Form Part of The Participant-Facing Case Material Provided for Preparation. Teams Should Therefore Be Prepared to Critically Reassess Their Solution when Presented with New Information.
