UGAHacks is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that hosts an annual 48-hour programming sleepover in Athens, Georgia, at the University of Georgia. The event prides itself on providing a unique environment where hackers, sponsors, and mentors can come together to work, create anything their minds can think of, and enjoy their time.
Since its inception in 2015, UGAHacks has seen tremendous growth, expanding from 200 hackers, 6 sponsors, and fewer than 10 mentors to over 600 hackers, 15+ sponsors, and 15+ mentors. Each year brings a new adventure with different people to meet, workshops to learn from, food to enjoy, side events to relax, and new prizes to be won.
The organization has become a recognizable brand featuring Byte, its mascot, who has appeared at every event since 2019. UGAHacks is always looking for new partners and participants to make the event better each year, offering opportunities to tap into recruiting up-and-coming computer science talent.
