"The difficulty lies not so much in developing new ideas as in escaping from old ones.” - John Maynard Keynes Vitta is the flagship annual publication of the Finance and Investment Cell, Shri Ram College of Commerce. It reflects the Cell’s enduring commitment to intellectual inquiry, financial awareness, and academic excellence. Over the past fifteen years, FIC has cultivated a legacy of fostering nuanced conversations across finance, economics, business, and global affairs, with Vitta standing as a testament to this vision. Vitta continues to embody the spirit of curiosity, critical thinking, and analytical rigour that has defined it since its inception. Inspired by the belief that progress lies in challenging conventional wisdom, this edition brings together some of the brightest young minds from across the country to explore the evolving dynamics of finance, economics, and geopolitics through fresh and unconventional perspectives. From shifting market paradigms and emerging investment philosophies to technological disruption, policy transitions, and the changing contours of the global economy, each article seeks not merely to interpret the world as it exists, but to question the assumptions that shape it. Rooted in research-driven analysis and thoughtful discourse, the 16th edition of Vitta aspires to go beyond observation, serving as a platform for ideas that challenge, inspire, and anticipate the future.
